Ventura NABA Fall Ball 2025 Season - Get Ready to Play!

Hi Ventura NABA Players and Managers, 2025.8.5

Get ready for another exciting season of Fall Ball! We're planning for the Fall Ball 2025 season and want to provide you with all the essential details.

Season Structure & Game Play

To run a division, we need a minimum of 4 teams. Last year, our two-level format (18+ Open and Recreation) with four teams in each division worked really well, and we aim to replicate that success.

  • 10-Game Season: Our goal is a 10-game season.
  • Divisions of 4 Teams: If we have 4 teams per division, we can conclude the season (10th game) with a championship-style playoff, where teams are seeded by their regular-season records (1st vs. 2nd, and 3rd vs. 4th).
  • Divisions of 6 Teams: If a division has 6 teams, each team will play every other team twice for a total of 10 games.
  • More Games? If your team is interested in playing more than 10 games, please let us know. Additional games are subject to field availability and increased costs.

Important Dates & Scheduling

The Fall Ball season is tentatively scheduled to begin on September 7, 2025.

  • Spring/Summer Playoff Conflict: We understand that some managers and players from the 35+ Spring/Summer league might still be involved in playoffs around this start date. We will do our best to accommodate these conflicts in the schedule.
  • Rainouts: While we will always try to make up games due to rainouts, please be aware that it may not always be possible due to field availability.

Team Costs & Payments

Here's a breakdown of the costs for each team:

  • Field Usage: $100 per game
  • Umpire Fee: $75 per game (Paid directly to the umpire)
  • Baseballs: $65 per dozen (you'll need 3 new balls per game)

A $100 deposit is required and must be received by August 24th. The remaining balance is due before your first game. Your baseballs will be handed to you upon final payment or at your first game.

NABA Affiliation Fees

All new teams and players must pay an NABA affiliation fee. This is an annual fee that helps with league-wide costs and benefits.

  • New Teams: If your entire team is new to Ventura NABA this year, you will pay a single $450 team affiliation fee. This fee covers up to 16 players (15 players and 1 manager).
  • New Players: If you are an individual player joining an existing NABA team, the affiliation fee is $35 per person.

Returning NABA teams that participated in the 2025 Spring/Summer season do not need to pay this fee again for the Fall Ball season.

We're looking forward to a fantastic Fall Ball season! Please reply to the below email to express your team's interest or if you have any questions.
